Anyone on Long Island using a clear bra? Which brand and who is recommended on the Island, cost?

3M makes an excellent product but be sure to get the latest generation as there have been flaws and problems with the earlier generation 3M clear bra's.

I had a custom install 3M clear bra done by Detailing Dynamics in Mineola about two years ago. They did an outstanding job and it still looks as good as the day they first did it.

Where'd you buy the car/get the clear bra installed?
I worked at Porsche of Huntington from August 2005 up until a couple weeks ago.

I got the car from Legend in Massapequa. I was looking for the car back in July, and nobody on the island had a 6spd coupe in the color I was looking for which was either white or meteor/slate. My car was actually at Huntington for a broken slave cylinder seal a few weeks ago.

I know Joe from a friend, he did the car in his garage for me.

I also worked at Legend, for 11 months. Not exactly a good place to work if you're not a salesman. They treat (at least when I was there) everyone who is not a salesman like s**t. Guy and Adam over at Legend are awesome techs though. And two of the techs at Huntington placed 1st and 3rd for technicians in the US in a competition they had down in Daytona last November.

I didn't really like Legend at all, but since they were the only with a car I want at that time I dealt with them. Their shop was nothing like Huntington's. I read about 1st and 3rd place techs working in Huntington. Taso from TKX actually told me to bring the car to Huntington and referred me to Tom.

Yeah, Thom was first and Kamil was third in the US. Both are excellent technicians, as is Nadim.
