[EVENT] * Announcing the 6th ANNUAL LONG ISLAND FALL FOLIAGE CRUISE! - Sun Nov. 1st *
Well, the Fall is officially here, the leaves are beginning to change and that means, it's time to start planning the 6th Annual Long Island Fall Foliage Cruise! This cruise is very near and dear to my heart since it was the first cruise I organized for the forum. This year has been different than others though, it's been a very difficult year for alot of people on the forum, for a time, I wasn't even sure if I would do a Foliage cruise but alot of people have emailed me about all the fond memories they've had on past foliage cruises and how much they've been looking forward to a 6th annual Fall Foliage cruise. With everything going on lately, we all need a fun, scenic cruise to look forward to, I sure do.
As like in past years, I'd love to have at least one vette of every generation. I've got a great route planned as well a great luncheon for everyone out on the North Fork in Long Island's wine country as well as a wine tasting session at Raphael's winery which we haven't visited since the 4th Annual Fall Foliage cruise.
The foliage should be at it's peak out in Long Island, last year's cruise was on November 2nd and the leaves were almost at peak. With this year's early chill, I have a good feeling the foliage will look amazing on Nov. 1st.
Date: Sunday, November 1st

As always, I've got the latest updates on the foliage in the Tri state area. So far, we're on schedule for peak color change by the time the Fall Foliage cruise takes place.

This is a great cruise, had a great time when I did it, however this year I will be attempting a different type of run, The New York City Marathon (dont forget about road and bridge closures around the city)
