It actually called the Delaware Water Gap. It's PA Route 209 and runs along the Delaware River ruffly from the East Stroudsburg, PA area up to about Port Jervis, NY on I 84...give or take a few miles...but a gorgeous drive for the vetteminded.

Watch out for deer, there quite plentiful both alive and dead on the shoulders as I recall from my last run through this area...still worth the effort.

Sounds great to me. When are we coming back? Where are we leaving from on Thursday morning?

I have driven Rt 209 from Port Jervis to E Stroudsburg several times and its worth the trip. Beautiful road and scenery!

Pete - I have done the 209 section several times.
It is a beautiful ride, as long as you're not in a hurry.
It's mostly 2 lanes with a handful of stop lights thrown in for good measure.
And Sundays tend to have quite a few 'tourists'...

Have a safe trip and enjoy the ride...

Bob
I usually have my S&W Model 629, on the center console, in case of live deer.
