How y'all doin' up there? I would think the snow is all gone, and the nice Spring days are on you. Just last week I saw that New Jersey and our Central Florida temps were the very same at 86F. Just checkin' in, and maybe I'll see some of you in Bowling Green in 2019?

Well since I'm still north of you I'll respond. Took a job with a company and do a lot of traveling and stay on site at a hotel near the job. (company pays for it and a per diem for meals). Haven't done much driving because I'm never home. The winter here was very short lived and not much snow. How are you and the Atlanta Falcons fan doing? Bowling Green is doable, not very far from here.

I try and stay as far away from Orlando and Disney World (and any of the big cities here) as much as possible as everything is more expensive down there, and the congestion and traffic annoys me. We are about an hour and 20 minutes North of Orlando (all good roads) in the middle of the state in Sumter County, just OUTSIDE of The Villages (the largest gated community in the world) where other Corvette folks from South Jersey have been migrating over the last 10 years or so. More South Jersey Corvettes folks over on the Atlantic coast (Palm Coast,FL) and more below us in Longwood,FL, and Naples,FL also. We are in a drought period (it has rained only 3 days since I've been here in September 2016!) and the neighbors tell me we enjoyed a very warm Winter 2016/'17 this year. Water is about the only thing that is priced higher than where we moved from. This place suits me and Ruthann just fine.

Oh yea? Just don't let me hear that you went to the Keys or something without letting us know George. We have Corvette friends from NJ in North Carolina, but they are way out on the coast (actually more Corvette friends in South Carolina, out on the outer banks?) It's really something the vast number of people here that came from New York and New Jersey!

That color reminds me of the Purple Pearl Metallic paint that Chevy used on the 93' & 94' Camaros. I had a 93' Z28 in that color. The Corvette color looks a little darker than the color used on the Camaro but it could just be the lighting. It wasn't my first choice in color, but it was the only Z28 left in Charleston, S.C. at the time. The color grew on me.
This wasn't mine - just showing the color

I haven't posted anything in a long wile. This place hasn't been the same since Alex left.
We also have a place in Florida. Ocala about 20 minutes from the Villages.
I still have my 93 Vert but will be selling it. Just put in an order for a 2018 coupe from Kerbeck. It will be a daily driver (no more garage queens)
We are thinking of joining the Marion County Corvette Club, it supposedly has over 200 members.
We will be doing the snowbird thing and plan on driving the vette back and forth.
Maybe we will run into some North members down there. (not literately)
