Default Adam's Detail Clinic @ Thompson Racing 04MAy2013 Warrington, PA

My name is Eric Thompson and my two brothers and I have a race shop in Warrington, PA. We run ProMod Corvettes and are the Philadelphia Area Adam's Dealer. It is truely a hobby, not a profession. We host a detail clinic every spring.

Our shop is 16,000sqft, epoxy floor, painted walls. We have an '84 hauler inside and a chassis shop in the back, fabricating full cage race cars from the ground up. There should be plenty of room and a very clean environment. We have two ProMod Corvettes, making over 3,000hp each, a Ferrari 458 Spyder, Dodge Viper, lifted trucks, custom '65 Cadillacs, and a few other cars. People come just to see the shop.

The clinic is FREE to attend and we fly in one of the best detailers in the country from Adam's headquarters. We typically have over 100 cars in attendance, ranging from original antiques to dozens of exotics. We teamed up this year with Bucks County Exotics and they are co-hosting the event. This is not a public event, like a car show. It is a gathering of multiple car clubs, consisting of people with a similar interest in nice cars.

We offer the opportunity to multiple shops and vendors to attend the clinic and setup booths, so we will have vendors, from a Snap-On rep to insurance reps. This means there is more to do than just detailing. Also, a few of the clubs plan to go go-karting at the track down the street, the morning of the clinic, so it might be something you are interested in. A few of the clubs are making this a full-day event.

We would love to have more Corvettes at the clinic!

Also, we appreciate it if everyone planning to attend would register. Registration helps us plan for the event. In return, we send out a discount coupon for our shop to all who register.

Thank you,

Eric Thompson

Hi Eric,

I live on Valley Rd and have been noticing some very nice cars go into the old Klearfold building. I'll have to stop by and say hi one day soon.

I'll try to get one of my cars there on the fourth.

Tom

Good to hear from you Tom! You should stop in! The clinic on May 4th is going to be a crazy event! We have a lot of people stop in our shop with wild cars. The 4th is going to be a collection of those cars.

BTW, hold your ears this week, we're gonna fire up the race car!

Thank you to everyone who attended! We had a packed house! Great turnout of Corvettes!

Here's a link to some pics:

You know it's full when Corvettes are double parked on the grass!

We are working the schedule now! Traditionally, we held a fall clinic in Mechanicsburg, however, I have a wedding at the end of September and the owner of the home we held the clinic at can no longer host the event.

We have talked about hosting a summer clinic. It will be difficult, as there are so many summer events and we like to stay clear of as many as possible.
