Default More Taxes on Massachusetts Drivers??

This was sent to me yesterday by a Corvette owner in MA. It is outrageous, and I would like you all to read how this is going to affect all of us who drive. Tax imposed on amount of miles we drive!! Please write your objections to the Transportation Committee and your individual state reps.

I understand something similar is being considered in Rhode Island. OUTRAGEOUS!!

Elaine

Elaine, I was aware of this effort at revenue generation by the State. With electric cars and more fuel efficient vehicles the state is trying to generate more money since the gas tax isn't giving them enough to fund "essential" projects like the multi-million dollar renovation of the Governor's office My local legislator is aware of it and opposes it.

No Chicago!! Our Governor hails from Chicago just like our President. They are big buddies and are tax and spend liberals. Our Governor just raised the gas tax and has now tied it in to automatic increases every year. Now they want open road tolling. We get to put devices on our Corvettes and pay extra as we drive.

If the tax improves the awful roads here then I am all for it. MA roads are by far the worst I have driven on.

If it will prevent the mass holes from clogging all the roads in NH, it works for me.
