Default Help Packing

This being our first trip to the event, I have an understand of the need to clean the car for the showing and shine, and even after talking with a few Harley Riders at work about the poker runs I have an idea about them. What is the big puzzler for my navigator is, what is the dress attire for the Friday and Saturday events?

First off...
Thanks for participating! You and your navigator are in for a fun weekend. In years past, we've had a wash station set up outside the hotel on Friday. I'll check to see if we have the same arrangement again this year.

As for attire....casual, casual, casual. Relax and enjoy. There's nothing "formal" going on...unless you feel the need.

Heading down Friday for the first time. Been down for the cruises in May and Oct. Does anyone gather at any other place besides the inlet? Like Hooters, Wawa, etc.

If its raining Saturday morning, how is the car show conducted, do participants actually leave their hoods up while its raining? Would the judging be delayed? Just wanted to understand the logistics.

From the Car Show folks...

"Car show proceeds as scheduled, rain or shine. Cars may display with hood up or down, roof on or off. Prudency would dictate hood down/roof on if it’s raining."

Owner discretion advised.

Here now. Pretty nasty right now. Windy and light rain. Not sure what's happening in the inlet this morning.

Rain should stop later in the day.

Hopefully no rain for the Boardwalk Parade.
