Usually you get it first of July due by Aug 1st... If not, in Dec. Well that's how Enfield works anyways.

May as well add an insurance comment. Hartford CT is/was the "Insurance Capitol of the World". However that designation didn't really make the best rates for CT:

Ranking the states: Average car insurance premiums (April 2015)
1 Michigan $ 2,476
2 Montana $ 1,886
3 Washington, D.C. $ 1,799
4 Louisiana $ 1,774
5 Florida $ 1,742
6 West Virginia $ 1,716
7 Connecticut $ 1,690
8 Rhode Island $ 1,656
9 California $ 1,643
10 New Jersey $ 1,595
11 Maryland $ 1,590
12 Mississippi $ 1,584
13 Delaware $ 1,542
14 Georgia $ 1,519
15 Oklahoma $ 1,496
16 Massachusetts $ 1,460
17 Texas $ 1,449
18 Alaska $ 1,410
19 North Dakota $ 1,377
20 Wyoming $ 1,371

Just called Middletown saying I have not seen my MV Tax bill.

They said they are going out today, (late) but encouraged me to send it in right away or deliver it in person!

They can't even get the bills out on time!

haha, typically I get it July 2nd or 3rd, with a due date of July 1st. Then there's a cute little note saying it must be paid by the first of Aug.

And I thought NH registrations sucked. At least I don't have to pay sales tax too.

Default Just got my car tax bill

For Middletown.

Almost $700 for a 7 year old car!

WTF!

And since we have a volunteer fire department, I have to pay them some money as well.

Again, WTF!

I feel you're pain as well, Jeff. We have that damn fire tax in Enfield added to our property taxes as well, and it took a big jump this year....

Moving out of the northeast can't come soon enough. Hope I'm gone by this time next year.

Nice. The S4 I had, had the 4.2. That thing was a pig for gas and oil changes!
