Default Taxes for 8 year old Z06 in CT

Going to pay the annual property tax on my 8 year old 2006 Z06 today:

$890.02

Well at least it's down from last year's bill for $971.99

Oh, also paying for my 89 Corvette convertible ... $181.61.
This one should go down next year because I finally cancelled the regular registration and re-registered it as a "Classic"

Love CT

What state are you in? I may want to move! Sadly we get pounded with high RE and income taxes plus a high cost of living in he great state of CT.

I just paid $126.00 for my 99. I didn't think that was bad...

Guess I should keep it!

What is your town's mill rate John?

Like getting hit for sales tax every 2 years or less. Where are we moving? NH or VT? Or go south? I doubt if it will retire here.

08Z 997.35

Two cars two trucks one mototcycle 3100.00. My 2014 express didn't show up on the tax roll yet. I will get a supplement bill for that Jan 1st for about 700.00 for the last six months. I can't afford to live here when I retire.

Holy Crap!

You must move to the town of Washington if you plan to stay here in CT.
Our mill rate was just increased from 11.75 to 13.50.

I cringe at the thought of what you must pay on your house!
