Just got home from the show; there was a great turn out of cars. I think they said that 190+ cars in attendance. The only downside to today was the temperature and the wind; I nearly froze my a$$ off the whole time but, it was a good time.

Thanks to everyone who came out to today to the show. This was the largest show we have hosted at this venue with nearly 200 Corvettes entered into the show. Portions of the money raised will be going to local Toys For Tots/Teens Charities.
If you have some pictures please post them, I was too busy today to take pictures!

Mike and I had a GREAT time as usual.
Your club is one of the most organized and always has a well run show.

There was a C4 there that had a custom paintjob done by the owner in purple. What was interesting about the car was his extensive use of titanimum throughout the car including his exhaust. He did the work himself since he is a metal fabricator that works with titanium, his work was very neat. There were quite a few cars that I would love to have owned. Good show, good time, thanks.

There was a guy taking pictures of the cars as they came in; anyone have any idea if they will be posted? I only took a few pictures myself; I'm not sure why as there were a lot of really nice cars there that day.

Kind of hits the nail squarely on the head.
Just a guess here, but if the car arrived before even many of the club members did, and if he spent all of those hours cleaning an already awfully clean car, which he likely did, because I never saw him not cleaning the week or so before at Peddlers Village.
Then based on only that, it would seem to suggest that in a show that clearly stated cleanliness was the basis for judging, he would certainly have had a real good shot at first place.
Sometimes in a show like that dust in a wheel house crevice might be the distinction between first and second place.
I bet the second place gent had a fun day anyway, and second place ain't too shabby!
A great day with great cars and great people!
