Rich Lagasse Health Issue
FYI: I just wanted to let people know that Rich Lagasse, who is known by many here, is recovering from a stroke that he suffered a couple of weeks ago. He has been in contact with me. He is doing much better but is still working through rehabilitation. He is reading the Forum but has difficulty typing. I'm sure many of you would like to join me in wishing him and his wife Barbara well during his recovery. He is a class act and the Corvette hobby is a far better place with him in it.
There is an ongoing thread regarding Rich in the C1/C2 section of the Forum. Get well soon Rich.

Rich, I was sorry and surprise to hear about your stroke. I hope your rehabilitation stays on course and you are back to enjoy your C7 ride soon. I wish you and your wife, Barbara, well.

Hi Rich and Barb
I have been thinking about you since we talked last a couple of weeks ago and was getting concerned that I hadn't heard anything lately. I hope there wasn't any complications from the procedure. Please drop me a line when you can.

I just received a nice email from Rich, and he certainly appreciates all the concern for his health. He did have a rough time and complications from his recent surgical procedure, and he has to relearn things that most of us take for granted. He also is so grateful for the wonderful care he is getting from his incredible wife Barbara who is an RN. I am sure once he gets the dexterity back that is required, he will be responding to you all personally. The show of Love and support that he is seeing here in the Corvette Community I know mean a lot to him and Barb. We all know how caring and helpful they both are to anyone that need anything they can provide. I know we will be seeing them at some event this summer for sure. Hang in there buddy.

Hope you are doing well also Paul. I have been thinking about you a lot lately also. Small world Paul, but Richie and I grew up in the same small town in RI and we raced go karts together also. He was the best pure driver I have ever seen. I was always glad I raced in a different class than he did. He is a class act.
Sent you a PM.
