NJ: Who was the crazy grand sport driver on channel 1 news this morning?? lol
Was watching channel 1 news at work and saw a piece of a guy in a cyber gray grand sport with gunmetal stock grand sport wheels driving on the ice. The reporter was talking to him but i couldn't hear since the volume of the tv was down. This was filmed in freehold, nj.
Just wondering who you are, if you're on here.
I think you're a looney for driving in this weather yet i applaud you for giving corvettes a good name. These cars can be driven in this weather lol

I've driven my C5/6's daily through the winter for the past decade.
With the correct snow tires, these cars are great.
With any C6 that exceeds 80,000 miles now selling for under $20k, why not?
How many $100k S550 Merc's do we pass by on a daily basis.
It's Freedom of choice, just don't forget to buy a healthcare plan, now that is an issue that makes me irate.

I know it can be done with snow tires i just grew up never driving "my toys" in bad weather. I know some people drive their cars all year don't matter which is understandable. If you buy a car, you have to enjoy it etc.
I just think that i don't find enjoyment if i have to put my baby through harsh weather lol. That's what DD's are for!

I daily drive my c6 z51 npp in nj as well. Days of the storm I tend to stay home but the next day I go where ever I want.
These cars clean up better than new.

I applaud you then. I couldn't do that. Even though i can, i won't.
If i didn't have another car, obviously i'd have no choice but if i didn't have another car, i wouldn't have bought a vette.
Thank god for daily drivers lol

same here, 12 yr old vette in the garage, wife's minivan and our second family vehicle sit outside. But vette people have our priorites correct. Because we have convinced our spouces of the "priority" car, we should applaud ourselves and each other, here's one to you

Not the GS driver in NJ but there is a guy on the east side of rochester ny that has driven a z06 since they started making the c5's. He has had a hitch on a c5, c6, and now c7 z06 and not only drives it all year but tows a jet ski and snow mobile. If I didn't have a farm I would drive one year round for sure.
