I will be there at the inlet selling Corvette and classic car tee shirts and hats. Stop by the trailer and say hi. My vending trailer has a wrap on it with the front of a C1 vette on the front and the rear of the C1 on the back of the trailer.
My wife works for Ocean City, but we don't live there. I know how high some of the curbs are getting into and out of places are down there. I know how Coastal Highway and the southern end of OC floods when there's heavy rain and storms. I've seen guys get their Vettes totaled because of sea water flooding out their cars. Mine is really low, so I don't take it.
Now if I had a classic...........in a heartbeat. Fantastic show, good vendors, lots of freebies, plenty to see and do. It's a great show. $10 a day or get a $30 3 day pass. Both will get you into all the shows and the Convention Center. Looking forward to it.
Me and my Dad will be there, hopefully my brother, too. I just bought an 08 JSB z06. This is my first vette so I will be looking out for other vette owners! I have been going to this event over the last 15 or so years, its always fun, pretty rowdy, but always fun....
Boy, their celebrity and their concert suck this year. Christie? from Gas Monkey Garage is the celeb. And The Doo Wop Project is their concert. The motorcycle show in September is getting the Doobie Brothers and REO Speedwagon. WTH? I'm not a big concert guy, but if I'm paying $40 a person for a concert it better be someone worth hearing. At least someone I've heard of before.

One year I made the mistake of driving up to Hooters from 33rd St. It took me nearly 2 1/2 hours to get back to the hotel from Hooters. Move 3 feet......dead stop......repeat.
Good thing is, there's NO SMOKING on the boardwalk this year! Town just passed the ordinance. There will be orange barrels for smoking every corner or two off the boardwalk and smokers will be required to remain off the boardwalk and no further than 15 feet away from the barrel to smoke. And that's not the only place it's banned. Northside Park, the Skate Park, and other places including the beach.
And kids in the back of pickups is banned too. That one has me psyched since I've had some run ins with those idiots. Now all we need is good weather all weekend and nice and warm!! I'm sick of this cold crap.
That sucks... I generally just park and watch for hours when it gets that bad. You would think with that many lanes traffic would flow much better. I guess at least it beats the year they didn't pave the roads. That was horrible..
