Great day, great group of friends.

Tried to get the essence of the day. Hard to do without showcasing the people.

The white 64 near the end that killed it in the 1/4 mile shows some of what the Posse is made of...

To a great group!

I agree...

Paul has his elbow resting in the breeze while he bitch slaps that 64 down the quarter mile!

Another successful Posse production. Nice work Jeff.

I think they need to tighten the straps a bit more on my car next time. Sure didn't feel like it was jumping around that much.

His 97 had a few mods and a 4:11 rear end. Tires were slipping pretty bad. Kevin and I were on for the dyno runs....Kevin was on during the 1/4 mile run. The idea was to get additional weight in the back to keep the tires from slipping ; this would allow for more accurate readings.

Tire slippage occured on other cars as well and it hurt their 1/4 mile times.

Well that's kind of what I figured then I saw it Dyno'd at 330hp or around there I can't remember and I couldn't see traction being an issue.

You saw Paulie squeeling out in all 4 gears with less than 200 HP. His quarter mile time rivaled the C-7.

As far as I'm concerned dyno hp is a distant second to the driver and how well you hook up.

Nice job Jeff, glad you got a pic of the "schrapnel" fan. Love the sound of my exhaust, doesn't sound as cool from the inside!

No update on car, still up there. They were getting the parts ordered and thought he could get to it early in the week. Either way I won't have time until next week to get up there.

She's done, $450 later and I'll have it home tonight. Water pump bearings are loose, so it got a high rpm wobble in the fan which caused it to self destruct. Still have to change out the pump, but at least it's drivable now!

Not so bad my friend.

Still about the price of a flat bed home.

Well, haven't looked under the hood yet (it was dark) but it has never run that cool before. Whatever they did they did right! It's all tucked in now, tomorrow it'll get some nice pampering (she's a bit dirty from being in the shop), then to pull the water pump, steering box, and fuel pump apart.
