Whenever, if ever, all the snow is gone.

Most of the routes I'd use are clear of snow. As for the sand and salt and crevices and potholes, not so much. And our driveway (long, steep, curve at the top) is a horror. But sooner rather than later spring fever will overcome common sense.

Its 55 today in Staten Island NY, so I took advantage of it. I went out and did some shoveling and chopping the ice. Some of it is like concrete, very hard to get up.

Roads are pretty clear but it's still salty as hell and the potholes are TERRIBLE.

This is rather scary especially for motorcycle riders. And i was planning on taking my bike out this week and i am debating now.

I had plans to take the vette out this weekend and it's doable but i have to wait for at least 2-3 rain days.

YAY rain today!

Almost all the snow is gone, i say about 75%. I think after the weekend it'll all be gone since it's raining again saturday. Tomorrow it'll be 60 degrees.

I am actually going to take my bike out tomorrow after work. Haven't ridden since first week of december. I hope i didn't forget how to ride lol.

I think the vette is good enough to come out sunday.

I finally got all the ice and snow out of the driveway. We had some rain last night, with more coming on Saturday. That should wash away all the salt. I think I'll be able to take her from the cave on Sunday..

Today was the day for me after 81 days off the road. I took roads I knew well and only encountered one serious pothole.

That's what I fear the most.

I can get the new one out; the other 2 are buried in the garage out back, blocked by all of the snow I shoveled off one of the roofs.

Today was the day!!!!
It was Sunny, dry and the roads are not too bad. At least now the hose has thawed and I can rinse it. Felt good, really good.

Ill be in Tx next week for TX2k15 and will want to drive it sooo bad when I get back. I will reward myself the end of that work week, so March 27th. Have it marked in my calendar and everything... it'll be 5 months at that point!

Guys if the car has been sitting for weeks keep in mind that the fuel in the tank is most likely not up to par. Run some fresh fuel threw her!
