Corvettes at Carlisle vendors

Corvettes at Carlisle vendors
I have registered to attend Corvettes at Carlislle for the 1st time. But I am beginning to
wander about attending. I was just at CAC website and the vendor list, looked kinda
small. Will more vendors sign up closer to the show or has the show started to decline? There are several, accessories that I would like to buy, but I want to see
them in person. I am around 1750 miles round trip, so I would like to have some
Idea of vendor participation.
Thanks for any info

Was there last year and tons of vendors were there. I guess it depends what you want, but almost any Corvette item was there. Good luck.

Here is a link to last year's program: http://www.carlisleevents.com/carlis...s-Carlisle.pdf
If you scroll to page 72 that starts the vendor listing. The "big name guys" are typically setup along the Midway...your smaller guys or your average Joe selling stuff will be out in what more resembles a flea market setup. (Definitely worth strolling through there as you can find some good deals there as well).
I've only been 4 times so far but the number of vendors has always numbered close to what is in the program from last year. I fully expect the list on the website to expand as we get closer. That might just be who has confirmed for this year or who they've gotten around to entering so far.

If you are looking to see a particular item in person, I would contact the vendor directly to see if they will have that item on site.
Vendors (especially the large catalog vendors) can't bring an example of each item that they carry. Most of the large vendors just bring their trucks and the manpower to take orders. I was disappointed a few years back when I went because I was hoping to bring several items back home with me. But their reason is valid, it would be just too expensive for them.
On a side note, some vendors will bring your item to Carlisle if you pre-purchase it!

Were you just looking at the small grouping of sponsors on the main page? That's definitely not all. Adam's Polishes isn't there. Meguiars, Corvette America, Glassworks, Creative Engine Covers and tons more aren't listed. That's just on the midway. There are more vendors in the buildings, and more in the swap meet areas like Paragon. Plenty of vendors. And that also doesn't include installers alley where you can get Corsas or Borlas or Magnaflows put on right there. Because of Pennsylvania's stupid tax laws, some of the large vendors that used to come don't come any more like Eckler's. But there are three full rows of vendors plus about 5 buildings, and acres of swap meet vendors, and others scattered around the grounds.

I have been to Corvettes at Carlisle for over ten years in a row now and I would suggest Friday and Saturday for sure to be able to catch the vendors actively participating. By Sunday many are tearing down and leaving. Wait until you see the 5,000 plus corvettes on display at the show in every style, color combo, etc. A great show indeed.
Forum members try to get together at the bandstand annually too to meet and get pictures. Watch for that announcement and see you in Carlisle.

It's a must go to event
Go and you won't be sorry. I've been going since the mid 90's. I haven't missed a year. It's great people, great cars, great vendors and best of all it's run by the best team around!
Lance and company do a fantastic job of keeping everything clean and looking good.
