FS Local - LeMons race car
As many of you know, my friends and I run the 24 Hours of LeMons race series. At this point, we have too many cars and not enough people so we are selling off one of our cars.
This is a 1970 BMW 2800 with start, stop and turning bits from a 1987 635csi. it has all the awesome looks of the BMW 2800 but with a modern, if you count almost 30 years old modern, fuel injection. There are also some spare parts that come with it. The car is fully caged, has belts and a nice Corbeau race seat.
Other highlights
upgraded to 15" rims - some spares with the car.
extra rear end 87 635csi
1970 2800 trans 4 speed manual
rear brakes on the car and extra box, hawk HPS blue pads
front brakes on the car, Pagid Endurance yellow pads..almost $300 new for the set
Suspension H&R Springs 50428R and Bilstein F4-B46-0607-HO
The car hauls butt and handles pretty well. It ran great at NHMS for a couple of hours but we started having problems with the brakes. We think there is an issue with the master cylinder but haven't had the time to dig into it to find out.
The car is located in Beacon, NY We are asking a reduced price of $3000.00 obo for everything listed above. If you already have seats, belts are want to save some cash we will let it go for $2500.00
