Default Corvette Show and Go Moved to Sunday?

The Englishtown Corvette Show and Go has been moved to a Sunday.
Can't take the trip back top CT on a Sunday in the summer. Bummer I have been going to this show since 1999. I will miss it!!

Steve, I haven't been to the track all year and I'm 15th in points. Englishtown really screwed us this year with the Sunday racing. Nobody is going that I know of.

I don’t think it rained there.

Use to go every August, did not know they changed it.
To Fathers Day no less.

The Show & Go wasn't last Sunday (Father's Day), it's August 2nd. What the OP was saying, is that for this year, the track has moved the event from a Saturday (like it has been for the last 25+ years) to a Sunday.

Frank, I will probably still come down. Either Stay in New Jersey Sunday night and drive home Monday. Or go home late Sunday after the traffic dies down.
Consider coming to the Club Corvette of Ct show July 12th in Guilford,Ct

Are they insane? I remember the traffic sucking coming home Saturday night. I couldn't imagine how trying to come home Sunday.

I feel the same way about it. The 3 hour drive home (100 miles) on a Saturday will probably be over 4 on a Sunday. Not sure if it's worth it.

And if they cancel it for 2016, they'll blame lack of participation. Whereas if they had left it on Saturday, they'd still get a great crowd.

They pretty much cancelled all drag racing events on Saturday for 2015. That decision disappointed a lot of corvette challenge racers.
