I just saw the posts on these events so I'll have to check on my schedule. You will be going right past where I live, just a few miles up from the Chatterbox. The food is very good and diverse so make sure you're hungry and there's plenty of parking. There are plenty of great roads up in northern Sussex County, just watch for wildlife. If I can I will hookup at the Chatterbox.

Just wondering is there a reason behind starting the run @ 4pm? It's 135 miles from our house, to the chatterbox drive inn. I have no problem with driving that distance, just didn't realize how late the run will go. We were also planning to come up the night before and stay overnight. My wife just made a good point that hotels checkout is usually around 11am, and if the run don't start till 4, that's a long time to kill. What about a 12-1 begining time? Again if there is a reason behind the 4 o'clock start, then cool.. We will probably just head home after the chatterbox..

4:00 was just a time which was picked to put us at the chatterbox around dinner time

To be honest , start time doesnt entirely matter to me. The hard part is getting everyone to agree

Does anyone else that is going agree/disagree with the start time?

It looks like the run is about a 1.5-2 hr drive.. If we were to start around 1-2 and do the run.. Have a break, in the middle or what not, then we could still do dinner at chatterbox around 4-5? I am sorry as I should have realized the times a while back.

FYI: Our corvette clubs' cruise is in Easton on Saturday night. There are a number of restaurants right there for dinner:
SAT 08/01 CRUISIN’ THE TRAIL IN FORKS TOWNSHIP PA
Sullivan Trail at the Park Plaza, 1800 Sullivan Trail, Forks Township, PA5-8 PM; Door Prizes; 50/50; DJ Brian Keith
Host: Easton Area Corvette Club , http://www.eastonareacorvetteclub.com/

Also; this is going on the whole weekend right near my home http://www.awkscht.com/
There are many places to go and see in the area for all interests. Just ask us for suggestions....... Glen

I'm ok with the earlier time as well. This way I have a chance to tuck the kids into bed that night ;-)

Thanks Glen. Just checked and that location is 90 min from here. Not that bad. Is there a deadline to join or just come up and have fun?
