Our club from NJ went to Rhinebeck in July. If it's a warm day brings lots of drinks, it gets hot there. Stake out a seat along the tree line for shade. Biplane ride was fun, they supply the hood and goggles as you can see. Amazing that these planes can still fly almost 100 years after being built.

I have my own helmet and googles. The leather might be a little moth eatten, but I think she still fits. The best advice I can give you is what was told to me by Eddie.....watch out for the Hun in the sun...

We made the minimum for the group discount, please remember $15 per person and I'll collect prior to 9:30 departure. Not setting up breakfast unless most want it so you're on your own if you want to eat at Scarpelli's. Ride is about 1 1/2 hr, probably no bathroom break so empty out before we leave. Forecast looks hot so good idea to bring beverages, sunscreen etc. See you all Sunday.....

My better half, who does not handle heat well, has decided tomorrow will be too hot for her to be out all day but not too hot for the list of chores she thinks I'm going to do!
