Awesome day Vic & John. Beautiful ride getting there. Cool old planes and cars. You guys taking a bi-plane ride looked like fun. Aside from the excessive heat it was a great day.

Thanks to John for being my co-conspirator and leading all the way. Glad you all could come and despite the heat we had fun. Kinda cool meeting up with the New York Vettes as well. Here's a few pic's (Vettes included)......

Thanks for setting up this trip Vic and John.

It was a fun and different day. I enjoyed seeing the WW 1 planes actually flying.

And thanks for posting the pics.

On the way home, my Garmin found that gravel road you were talking about.

Vic came up with the idea and did all the real work - he deserves the real credit.

To prepare I just went with Vic as a passenger in his "show car" to check things out. On the way I directed him to the dirt roads followed by my short cut that put the show car onto an off roading event. We ended that day in torrential rain for a final trashing of Vic's show car. It looked like a winter daily driver after that ride. Further preparation for the event involved looking at Google Maps and showing up late on the big day

Vic, great job for this event. You even cleaned up that filthy car ... must have taken over 12 hours just to clean it!

Actually just a little over 7 It was never a show car, just maybe a little "showy" at times......and don't be so quick to pass the blame, er.. praise.
Fine job leading, just need to get a watch that works..............

Let me add my thanks to Vic for setting this up and John for find alternate paved road and leading the way home. Great top down ride up and back. Good fun and interesting show and venue. Yes, it was hot, but hey, its summer! Enjoy while you can.
