Oct. 17 & 18 - East Coast Supercharging Is Back At Pocono Raceway!
The guys at ECS have partnered w/ Slipstream again to bring you another installment of roll-racing at Pocono Raceway. We’ve taken your input and revamped the racing format to maximize on-track time, minimize the impact of sandbagging, and meet the demand for the country's most advanced roll-racing event.
The event will be split across a full weekend:
• The Only Roll Event With MPH & ET
• Side-by-Side Roll Races
• Timed Start Speed of 60 MPH
• True 1600ft Race Distance
• Open-Format & Competition Racing
• Return Route Printed Time Slips
• Start Differential & MPH To Judge Fair Runs
Whether its your first time on a track or you're a seasoned veteran, this event offers a fun, safe and competitive outlet for everyone. I'm sure some of those who have attended in the past can chime in.
We're proud to have a partner like East Coast Supercharging, they are the reason we can continue to expand and improve these events.

Most people get from 5-10 runs depending on if you want to hot lap or not. I'll have to find out about convertibles.

Sorry for the delay guys, I usually get emails when people reply to the thread.
Convertible vettes are fine, most modern convertibles will be fine actually.
Number of runs is dependent on a few factors, but the new split to a two day format (split based on HP) will help maximize runs across the fields. We run all the way through 6PM (sometimes longer if enough people want to race), the last few hours allow for back to back hot laps and you can get upwards of 20 runs for the day. A lot of people choose to start packing up around 4PM so they can hit the road back home at a reasonable time.

Without them this could have never happened... $10,000 donated last year, $15,000 this year, and hopefully even more in 2016

Scratch that, only 4 spots left for Day 1 (750WHP) is also filling up quickly with 37 cars currently between 900-1850WHP (the bulk being 1250-1500WHP).

Any chance they'll add a middle class for 750-1100?

So you do qualify for Day 2, and I wouldn't worry about not being competitive for two reasons.
A) You won't be alone, I know of others just waiting for their builds to wrap up that will be in the 750-900 range. Myself included, if I can get a few things sorted next week I'll be filling up with E85 and jump from ~650WHP to ~775WHP
B) We are doing the competition classes based on standard deviation and a bell curve of the qualifying runs for the day and not based on "claimed HP". This minimizes sandbagging and customizes the brackets to what people are running the day of. So in the absolute worst scenario you could fall into a call of your own, but I know that won't be the case as there are others at your level that will be signing up
