Default Anybody Want to Split 55 Gallons of Methanol? Cheap!!!

I have the opportunity to get a 55 gallon drum of pure Methanol for $50. I can't keep it all and store it, so if anybody wanted to go in halfsies or even more people, we can absolutely split it up. I'm in the Philadelphia area.

Not sure what brand it is. All I know is it's 100% methanol and the guy was using it to make biodiesel. The drum is sealed.

If it's VP M1 I may be interested.

Does anyone know of a good way to secure the top of a VP 5 gal pail?

The cap on it looks too flimsy to lay a full pail on its side.

If it's an unopened can of VP it will be fine on the side. There's three or so caps on the thing and it is pretty well sealed. If it's open...well..yeah I agree on not wanting to lay a full pail on the side. Once we opened it we transferred it from the metal pail into one of the plastic gas type containers.
