Smithville, NJ All Corvette Show This Sunday 10/18
The annual Corvette Rendezvous Show in Smithville Village, outside of Atlantic City, is this coming Sunday October 18th. The show is open to all model years of the Corvette, so all are welcome to attend.
Generally we have nearly 200 Corvettes attend from surrounding states, so it's always a good time. Cars are judged on overall cleanliness, this isn't an NCRS judged show, but we have plenty of trailered Corvettes show up.
Plenty of food and shopping at Smithville Village, it's a great venue for a show. We have 23 different classes and instead of one best of show, we have 7! We award the Best of the Generation for all seven generations of the Corvette.
The weather forecast is looking nice and dry, but a bit chilly if you arrive early. We will present trophies between 1-2pm, so you aren't stuck there until the late afternoon. We offer $100 cash prize to the Corvette Club with the most registered cars, so if you want to park together please arrive together, we can't hold any spots.
The funds generated from the show go to support the charities that our Club supports year after year, such as local military and toys for tots to name a few.
The host Club does the judging and the same judge will judge the entire class, so you have consistency through the entire class. The host Club cars are NOT eligible to win any awards.
Hoep to see you on Sunday.

If you have a catagory for roadrace cars with dirt and marks on them, I'll enter the show. Otherwise I'll see you there.

This was a GREAT day--great people, great weather, and of course, great cars. My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves--she's just learning about Corvettes so it was a real education for her to see so many and from all generations. Next year I believe it's October 16, so mark your calendars! I didn't really know what to expect because it was the first time attending, but next year I plan to enter my car after seeing how the show is run and how great a venue it is.
