Default Anyone getting their last ride in before the snow?

The last few days, and today, I have definitely taken advantage of the nice weather to get some driving time in. Amazingly, no matter where I went, I never saw another Vette other than me. Did anyone else get a ride in?

I traced the route the Posse did a few weekends ago and stopped at Outlook Farms but instead of going to Huntington Country Story I went to Knightville Dam in Huntington to get some walking in. I was the only person there today. Not a living soul in sight anywhere.

My daughter told me she saw a group of Vettes in Chicopee on Christmas Eve, but she wasn't in a vette and that's the closest I have seen, second hand info.

Yes I've been driving alot here on Cape Cod. The weather has been great the whole month. I drove all of my cars today since I'm leaving for Florida in the morning and won't be back for 6 weeks. Figured I would give them their last bit of exercise and then top off the gas tanks.

Today was a great day weather wise up here in Northeast Mass. Couldn't take the Vette out like I would have liked due to some previously planned activities, actually cut the grass last time also. However, I hoping that Monday Morning is the next best opportunity before this weather changes like they are expecting. Salt on roads up here for sure.

Been so busy lately but have watched the weather a lot this month knowing that this day would come to put her away for the winter.

Looking forward to my last ride for the next few months.

Enjoy Florida Capevettes, hope you get to Kissimmee (Mecum Auctions) in a few weeks. My wife an I will be traveling to Florida in February.

I'll continue to drive as long as the roads are clean. My neighbor had his C6 out yesterday. Saw a C6 at the movie theater tonight.

Thanks C5 We do plan to hit the Mecum Auction. We are also going to the NCRS Winter Regional in Lakeland. Planning on seeing the Muscle Car City in Punta Gorda and then the Corvette Museum on the ride home. Leaving in about 2 hours

I sure did...took my Vette out on Christmas day afternoon for a gas tank top off and Staybil drink just in case the roads get salted and I miss another opportunity to get this done.

As much as I hoped to see another Vette out there it was not meant to be unfortunately. Still I enjoyed having the nicest car I saw...

Out cruzin' with the top down yesterday.

Had several comments from strangers and thumbs up.

Dare I say we will have a mild winter and corvettes may have been put away too soon.

Glad the saddle is still on the horse and am ready to ride.

Heading to the citadel of chance today to recapture some Christmas money. Wish me luck.

Took a short ride on Christmas Day. Topped off the gas. If they salt tomorrow morning, I am done for the season. We'll see what the pending storm brings.

Went to Muscle Car City a few years ago. Interesting collection and worth the trip.

Sun was shining, vette was out. Starting to cloud up now, put her in the garage. Little stabil
and parked it, see how bad the road get before finally covering, and hooking up the tender. But hey clean dry roads will see her back out.

I bought a 2008 Honda Accord for the winter duty this year. It was a one owner car out of Curry Honda right outside Westover Air Force Base in Chicopee MA.

Long story short, the OIL CONTROL RINGS GO BAD in the 2008-2012 accords and the 0304 MISFIRE light pops up.

The engine is a complete let down.

C6 will be the Daily Driver this winter again with snow tires.

With the freezing rain and salt now on the roads that's a wrap for this year. Shes parked in the garage for winter repairs.

Same here, or at least until a good rain storm washes the roads clean again.
And this after driving to Christmas Eve services in near 70 degrees. Finest kind.

Default Done for the Winter.

Took Vette out this past Monday as planned and got in a few miles of driving, topped off gas tank and put he back in the garage for the winter. That's it until April.

Yesterday 3-4 inches of snow and ice, the streets around Haverhill are a mess. Salt and sanders out all night. My driveway is full of ice, can't even get the snow blower down to the pavement like I like.

I too went to Muscle Car City in Florida just this past February. Great place to visit in middle of winter, what a collection of vehicles.

Enjoy your winter and Happy New Year,

C5firstimer now a C6.

So far no snow yet. This weekend looks pretty cold like low 40s for the high but I'm still taking my car out.

Until they throw salt down the car is coming out.

I'm at the Jersey Shore and I'm loving this weather, and can't believe this weather. As long as the roads are clear I drive as much as posible, good for you northern people. These cars were ment to be driven, hard.

It's chilly here in Maryland, but the sun is out and there is no salt on the roads so the Z06 has been enjoying the colder dense air!!

Happy New Year to All!!

We toured the Museum today. WOW!! Unbelievable collection of Vettes and everything else GM. 69 ZL-1 Vette and a 65 Z16 Chevelle were a couple of the highlights. Well worth seeing
