Default Race car fabrication in upstate NY

Hello, I'm new to the Adirondack area of NY. I'm in Malone and am looking for a good race car prep and fabrication shop to add a full roll cage to my street car. I race with NASA and haven't got to know the local shops just yet. If anyone has any ideas or experience with a shop anywhere around here or Albany, Syracuse, or western Vermont please let me know. Thanks.

With all the DIRT Modified's and Supermodifieds built in that area I would think you would have a number of good shops to choose from.

Good luck with your search. Good luck with the racing.

Talk to Jim at Jim Glass Corvette, about an hour south of you in Kingston NY. Jim vintage races Corvettes, as well as builds vintage racers, maintains them and buys and sells them. Jim's number is 845-331-5666. If Jim can't help you, he should be able to direct you to someone who can.

If Jim can't help you, ask him about Brion's Race Cars in Montgomery. I don't have Brion's number at home, but Jim's friends with Brion, and should be able to give you his number. Montgomery's a little further from you, probably an hour and a half from the Albany area.

If you talk to Jim, tell him you got his number from Glenn. We're friends, and I help him out at the races, when I can.

I have a guy here in Rochester shop is called RJ Profab he does incredible work. Give him a call 585-820-3712. He did some frame work on a 57 chevy gasser for us earlier this year and we were very happy he's been around for a while

If Rochester is not too far, check out Troyer. https://troyerracecars.com/ Not sure if they do street stuff or track cars only, but they know what they are doing.

Talk to Jim at Jim Glass Corvette, about an hour south of you in Kingston NY.
From MALONE,Kingston is more like a 3 or 4 hour ride. It's roughly a 105 mile from me near lake george and malone is a ways north of here...Talk to JOE at PRESTIGE IN Clifton park.He has been selling Vettes and other stuff for years and does do all kinds of mods etc. They had an article on one of his c2's he modded in VETTE MAGAZINE maybe last issue or the one before that. He's exit 9E off the NORTHWAY and then north on rte 9 for a couple of miles AND HE'S ON THE left. He's got a full website too. PRESTIGE CORVETTES OR PRESTIGE SOMETHING OR OTHER.COM Make sure you pick CLIFTON PARK,there a bunch of prestige auto stuff out there all over the country.
