Please see my post...trying to see what issues i would have at Ct dmv with an open title(titled in FL)....so far it doesnt seem like the best thing...but have gotten opinions for and against...first time im dealing with an issue like this and will be my first corvette...thanks for the help anyone can provide with relation to CT DMV

Looking over your other post, the only correct answer is contact the DMV and ask them.

I bought my '71 in TX, and as it was under construction, never had the title switched over. Then I moved back to CT, finished the car here and went to title it. They would not take the title alone, even though it was signed over to me from the previous owner, and they would not take my TX bill of sale. I had to get an affidavit notarized (standard form), then they took that and the signed title. That would have to be the route you go, as the Bill of Sale would be useless if it wasn't the CT form and signed by the person who's listed on the title. You will also have to have a VIN check done before you go to title/register it a it's coming in from out of state.

Thanks for the replies...I ended up bailing out of that car...too many questions on how it would work out. Found another ZR1 in Charlotte and got that one instead
