Default Car transporter

So I'm planning on moving from NY to NC sometime this summer, if my home sells in a timely manner.
I want to have my 2012 GS shipped in an enclosed trailer to the Wake Forest area. Can anyone recommend a hauler? TIA

i just had my car shipped from orlando it NJ very cheap. but since it was only a 12-13k car i shipped it in an OPEN carrier. the guy doesn't have any enclosed or i would have passed along the number.

Anything worth more then that i would send enclosed like you are doing

I have used Intercity to transport Corvettes and can recommend them very highly. They treat the car as though it was their own and you can stay in contact with the driver. No drop ships/transfers. They cover the vehicle in the enclosed TT. You will be pleased

I've used Plycar twice, and would not hesitate to use them again. I believe Callaway ships their car with them, as well.

ladder13,

Intercity Lines would be glad to provide you with a CF rate for your GS from NY to NC. If you can let us know where in NY the car picks up from and we will send you over a rate on that move. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact us.

Thanks,
Jim

Jim, I got your quote, thank you. I will keep you in mind when the time comes. I may actually have 2 cars shipped, the other being a SUV.
I'm working on getting a few quotes and sorting everything out.
Mike

I used intercity, very happy with the service! One thing I wan't thinking about was Barrett-Jackson or any other car show/auction will monopolize many of the transporters so once you get a date book early!
Another thing I learned early on as well is there are many services out there that DO NOT own trucks and are merely the middlemen (broker). Once you submit a request for a quote, your request gets forwarded on and you will receive dozens of emails. Don't fall for the pitch, use a service that owns the trucks and you will be fine.
