Default Meets near Westminster, Reisterstown, Owings Mills MD

Moved to this side of BMore last fall and didn't have much time before I put the car away for winter. Now that's it's almost spring looking to see where some people hang out on weekends in this area! Thanks!

You need to check out Shrewsbury PA, not that far from you. They have a Friday night cruise that draws 1000 cars on the 4th Friday of the month starting in April.

I maintain a sticky in this section that lists local cruises throughout Maryland and just across the state line. Hope it helps!

Also, if you ever come across a new cruise spot let me know and I'll update the thread!

Just saw this a few days ago. The Baltimore County Corvette Club is always a good time!

With this weather it looks like I'll be getting the Z06 out of storage sooner than planned! I definitely think I can make that event happen.

Me too. The weather has been so nice I took my Z out of hibernation 2 weeks ago.

I will ask you a question back - I'm in process of getting a C5z HPDE car. any shops that are particularly good with Vettes or understand prepping them for road courses?

Does anyone ever go out to the Home Depot in Eldersburg on Saturday nights?

Don't need work right now, because car is not here yet. that said, the track tends to cause a myriad of failures. so looking for a place that understands how to tell the difference between a vibration indicating a torque tub needing to be rebuilt from a wheel bearing. A place that knows how to tune out the secondary O2 sensors when not running cats. Or even just a decent shop that knows the car and does not charge dealer rates.

And although it might not be the same shop, how about a place that understands how to corner weight and set up coil overs.

Here is the information that I have for this event from the Maryland Events sticky. I haven't made it to this event myself, but would appreciate the feedback if anyone has additional information.

Place: Home Depot (Eldersburg/Sykesville)
(1326 Londontown Blvd, Sykesville, MD 21784)
Time: 5:00 - (until dark)
Event Note: Very informal; all kinds of cars are welcome.

Cool. I will be checking it out soon. Maybe this coming weekend if the weather is nice. I've heard they get a couple hundred cars on nice Saturday evenings.
