Weekend Bump Show is only 22 days away

The Corvettes for Chip Show, with the new show date of May 1, 2016 has the website open for registration. If you have not yet registered, now would be a good time to visit at www.corvettesforchip.com
Pre-registration not only saves you money, you will be in and out of registration in less that a minute, versus filling out paperwork for day of show registration.

We have first place and honorable mention awards in every class for stock and modified and classes for custom and race prepared. Great food, bake sale and a rocking DJ to keep you entertained.

We have registrations from PA, NY, NJ, MD, DE and VA so far and the turnout should be phenomenal. Make sure you reserve your spot for the first Show of the Season!

As always, we appreciate your support for this charity event supporting the Chip Miller Charitable Foundation.

The forecast I'm seeing is mostly cloudy with only a 20% chance of rain. It's on rain or shine.

Around how many cars generally attend? I'll be there if it's not raining.

Have fun guys, I am sorry I will have to miss this years show. The date conflicts with a track event at Pocono and I will be at the track. This might be only the 2nd C4C Show I miss, they are always a blast and great way to see friends.

Enjoy your time at the track, but we will definitely miss seeing you.

Just got the following email from the show organizer:
.
Good afternoon:

You are getting this message as a pre-registered participant for the Corvettes for Chip show.

As you may be aware, the weather forecast for Sunday's Corvette for Chip show is grim. Torrential rain for the whole morning and part of the afternoon is forecast at the 100% range.

The show team will be at Thomas Chevrolet, as it is a rain or shine show, but honestly, hardly expect anyone to show up. Beside local participants, we have pre-registered participants traveling long distances. We can't imagine it would be a pleasant day for anyone attending.

If you choose not to venture out in this weather, we understand. What we will do is mail to you the registration envelope that contains a few goodies, including the dash plaque.

After last years show postponement, the last thing we wanted was this outcome. We take seriously the commitment we made to our sponsor's vendors and you and are just as disappointed that the weather again, ruined our plans.

The money collected will be donated to the Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation and we thank you for your support of this most worthy charity

Credit to the organizers for letting us crazies off the hook—we would likely have showed up and been rather miserable.

There is, of course, always next year.
