Default Any handy Corvette owners in Northern NJ who could help?

Hello all, I'm new here, almost about to get my first vette. However, I was wondering, are there any handy Corvette owners in my area (Bergen county, NJ) who would be willing to help me with certain things like changing oil and other small maintenance items? I'm not mechanically inclined and I don't have the funds to pay full price at the dealer, I would rather much pay a fellow owner, and learn in the process.

Honestly, invest in a nice set of ramps. Watch a few how-to videos and you should be able to change your oil. Take your time, don't rush and do it step by step. and always double check your work.

You could try joining a local Corvette/Car club if you're into that type of thing. I'm sure their members can assist you with maintenance work, or at the very least recommend a reputable shop.

I can't make any kind of long term commitment but if you post up on here around the time when you need help, you might get a few offers. Something along the lines of, "Hey, I have to change my oil. Is anyone available this weekend to help/teach?" etc.
