Default Mr Mojo's 17th Annual Delaware Crab Trip

June 18th,2016

1st meet point: Wawa, exit 16 off I-195 Jackson,NJ 6:00am departure 6:30am

2nd meet point: Super Fresh Route 9 south, New Castle,DE 8:00am Departure 8:45am

3rd meet point: Most likely Midway Speedway, Route 1 south Rehoboth, DE approximately 10:30-11:00 departure 1:45pm sharp.

4th and final meet point: Old Mill Crab House, Delmar,DE 3:00pm.

From meet point one, we will travel west on I-195 to NJ Turnpike south. After the tollbooth for Del Mem Br we will take Route 9 south to Super Fresh in New Castle,DE.

From meet point two, we will travel south on Route 9 to Dover and get on Route 1 south into Rehoboth.
For those travelling with wives or girlfriends, you can drop them off at the Outlet centers on Route 1.

We must leave the Go Kart track at 1:45, not a minute later please. All passengers not at the track, should try and be at the track before this time either by walking(about 1/3 mile) or being picked up.

When we exit the track, we will turn right onto Route 1 north.
Then left on US Route 9 south we will end up on Route 13 south towards Delmar.

When we hit the state line of DE/MD we will turn right on Route 54(I think?) and head straight to the Old Mill Crab House.

There we will Pig Out!(Crab out?).

We should be finishing up around 5:30-6:00pm depending on how much you want to eat.

NJ/NYers usually take the Cape May Lewes Ferry home. Everyone is on their own for making reservations for the ferry. I recommend the later departures to ensure you actually get there on time.

I'm sure I have left some details out, but I will try and add them as I remember them.

Am I still welcome if me and a few friends are going to find a new place to dine? We've decided that the attitude, abuse and extremely poor service we got there last year is just not worth a trip back. We'd love to meet you guys at Super Fresh for the run down and we would definitely be on the ferry back home.

Of course you are always welcome. The Crab House ain't what it used to be, but's the only place I know of right now that can handle a large crowd, I may look into something else. The Rusty Rudder is closer to the Go Karts, so it's a possibility(if it's still open)

Dam, gonna have to miss this one Mojo!

Crab house isnt bad, the trick is not to order the steak.

Remember guys, keep it within the speed limit!

Sadly I won't be able to make it.

to all and hope everyone has a blast.

As Ike mentioned, pay attention to the speed limit . And don't eat too much.

The Westchester Crew will have about 8 cars with 14 people. We will meet Mr. Mojo at Super Fresh.

If you are planning or have planned the 7:45 ferry back to Cape May, LET ME KNOW! We have 16 people booked for that ferry and with 9 more names (25 total) we can get discounted fares. I have been in touch with the ferry people so you will need to let me know if you already booked or will book that ferry back to Cape May. Last year was a substantial savings on the $47.00 fare ($57.00 with passenger)

Send me a PM!!!

Charlie
