Anyone going doing to OC cruising weekend 5/19/16-5/22/16?
Trying to see there's going to be any corvette meets

We'll be there, but not taking the Vette. We pretty much park the car for the weekend once we're there. Too many nuts on the roads at night. Cops are going to be in major supply this year. More than last year. Don't know of any Corvette meets, but the show at the inlet and at the Convention Center usually have more than a few Vettes. And there's a show in Berlin and at Hoopers on Saturday.

There's a Chevy Dealer on 50 in Cambridge that always had a car show at the dealership that Saturday. Wonder if they'll have it again this year. And if you're trailering a car down, there is no trailer parking allowed inside city limits unless you are registered for the show and get a permit from the event organizers. You can get a permit at the Convention Center and it's only good for the days of the show.

We will be there also but without the Vette.

I will be at the inlet selling all kinds of classic car and Corvette tees and hats. Stop by and say hello. I will be in a 20ft vending trailer with a C1 Vette wrap on the front and rear of the trailer.

I'm not planning on going but my son is headed down Wednesday with his '01 WS6 Trans Am.

Weather forecast does not look all that promising.

Keep in mind they are still wrapping up the repaving job on Coastal Highway. I understand some of the cut overs between lanes are still incomplete.

Don't forget about the new trailer laws. Plenty of problems already.
Paving is expected to be done tomorrow, Wednesday at the latest.
Weather is supposed to be good Wed through noon on Saturday. Which means it will start raining Friday night and non stop on Saturday. lol Not real warm though.

Always in May, always the weekend before Memorial Day. This is the 26th year. There's a smaller version in October. May is a whole lot better.

Yep! lol I have pictures of Corvette weekend there when it used to be at the Convention Center and it was POURING. All the Vettes were lined up on Coastal and sitting in that 6" of water. That's another reason I don't like taking the Vette there unless I'm sure there's no rain in the forecast.
Plus, my car is only 4" off the ground and there are too many high curbs and entrances to places for me to clear without scraping.

Going to have a good time with or without the Vette.

I'll be down there in my 81. I don't know of any corvette meets but there is an LS1tech meet at Roses on 94th street Saturday at 2. There will be plenty of vettes there.

Right now, the weather forecast for Saturday is 100% rain beginning at 9 a.m. and ending around 6 p.m. Of course, this is the shore and I've seen it rain in one part of town and not the other. Here's hoping it rains in Delaware and skips OC.

Yea unfortunately the weather doesn't look good for Sat. Like you said though the weather seems to do what it wants down there. Hopefully it ends up not being a complete wash out.

Either way I'll be down there as it is always a good time!

Ill be there. Im off work for the next two weeks but i havent decided when i want to leave and be there. Also havent even lined up a place to stay since i wasnt planning on going until 2 days ago. Ill figure something out...
