Anyone interested in starting a North NJ Car Club?
Hey guys,
I was just wondering if there is any interest in starting up a car club for north NJ. It wouldn't have to be just Corvettes and any car enthusiasts are welcome to join.
This wouldn't be an "official" car club. At least not at first. More like a group of car people that get together on Saturdays around 10-11am and go on cruises/grab lunch/set up track day gatherings every once in a while at Englishtown or ATCO.
Obviously this is in its infancy stages so if there is a good turn out we can later down the road make it an official club and obviously make some changes over time. If there is a general interest on this forum I will post this on a few other car forums that I frequent.
If you or any friends are interested post your name/car/and location and let's set up the first meet for July 23rd Saturday 11am at a location to be determined.
I'm going to reach out to some other guys I know and see if they would be interested and update the thread in the next few days. Would love to have ya join up Pat!
Hey guys another update - I'd like to lock down a meeting point down for the first time so people can decide if they can come or not
Let's shoot for Saddle Brook NJ - Off route 46 - Large parking lot in Walmart
This meeting place is just for the first meet and as we see who is joining we will change the meet spots and try to make them as convenient for everyone as we can.
I was thinking we can meet there, jump on 46 again and take route 80 up to Parsippany and have lunch together at the TGIF's up there. We can all BS and talk cars and shoot the shlt. This is all completely new to me so anyone that has experience with car clubs I am completely open to ideas. This all sounds like fun to me!

Ha! This is legit 2 minutes from my job. I work right off Polifly/Terrace Ave! Doable!
Sorry guys and gals, I will have to sit this one out. Trying to get home on a Saturday afternoon/evening in the summer from north Jersey is next to impossible. Have a good time and keep me posted, hopefully I can make the next meeting.
There's a meet sunday july 10 at island dragway that myself and a group of buddies are going.
Myself and only 1 other guy are gonna be the only vettes, so it would be cool to have more vettes join in. The rest of the guys are other misc cars. Charger, gto etc.
