FWIW Alex1217 was at the Blessing of the Vettes in 2015. Didn't have the chance to catch up much but he was still extant as of then.

I bought a short block with stock crank with fly cut Weisco Pistons, compstar rods, ARP ...
Going to use old heads, cam intake and maybe take it easy on it for a while. I'm planning to tune for a mild shot of N20.
I'm retired and married now with the 98 here and the 04 at our house in Florida. If I'm here in the fall I'd like to see what it'll do at Atco. I am going to try and run a 9 sec qtr mile with the LS6 (346 Ci) NA.
Chances are that I'll be down south in November but we'll see.
