Moving to North Carolina
Hello folks. as of Aug 1, I will be a permanent resident of N.C., and I will be in the south east section of this forum. Goodbye to all of the wonderful friends I have in the vette world in the NE section. The runs, going to tracks, and get togethers will be missed. I'm keeping the 02 Z, but everything else is gone even my trucks, so its been a lot of fun, even getting banned on CF. I'll now be the elegible for the furthest drive from award at the car shows when Icome back for one.

Good luck George. Two retired neighbors by me moved to NC, lower cost of living. I am sure you will run into NJ transplants there. But good luck finding good pizza and bagels.
If someone organizes a farewell party please post it up and I will try to make it. It's been a while since I have seen the wolf pack

Just moved to NC myself, in April, after years of visiting down here and in the mountainous west NC.. Left NY for better weather, much lower taxes, gun rights, great healthcare, etc. Oh, one plate state too
I'm in the Wake Forest area, a stones throw from Raleigh. You'll have no trouble finding transplants from CT, NJ, NY, MA, OH, MI, etc, they're everywhere.
I do miss my pizza and Italian food, and have only found one decent place so far, Cristo's, but working on a few leads from another NY escape from Staten Island.
Lots's of cultural events, farmers markets, food truck festivals(big down here), car shows, and so forth.
It's hot right now, and nasty thunderstorms pass thru almost nightly.
You'll be just in time for the NC State Fair in Raleigh, one has to attend that at least once.

Best of luck to you on the move and you will be missed. Now you are going to have the fastest red Z06 with stripes in North Carolina!!
Stay in touch as best you can when you plan to travel back to NJ.

Good Luck! Where are you going? I have a daughter in Charlotte and one an hour north of there in Mocksville.

Winston-Salem North Carolina. Not too far from Greensboro
Open roads for cars and plenty of woods for quads/dirt bikes.

You'll be missed George! You will never replace your Wolfpack friends but I'm sure you'll find some great friends in NC. I always looked forward to seeing you on the Crab Trip and at Toys For Tots. Best of Luck to you guys. Have a great life!

Hey George, good luck with the move.
My parents will have to look for another electrician.
Just underwent some more surgery from the MC accident last year. Hopefully I will be able to hit some track events in September.

Seriously I met you last year at the Mt Laurel gig. I was new to the scene and you were a fantastic help. Great stories to boot. Best of luck to you in the move.

It is extremely saddening to see you move away. We had a lot of fun over the years. Your friendship and all the memories will be forever cherished.
Best wishes to you and your family for a future of happiness and prosperity and may your Vette cruises be full of twisties, with an occasion long straightaway thrown in for good measure.
