Head/Cam help in MA
Hi all,
2007 Corvette - LS2, Manual transmission.
Located in Medway MA and I'm tackling my first ever heads/cam job, and planning to DIY it. I'm pretty mechanically inclined, have air tools/specialty tools, and what I think are all the parts to do the job. I also have a heated garage. What I don't have is someone who has some knowledge they could share to maybe make sure I don't screw something up. Wondering if anyone has any interest in maybe providing some help or just a set of eyes familiar with the job. I'll buy the beer/food, and if you know how to drive, can offer you a shared track day with me at Thompson Speedway in CT in my dedicated road racing car in exchange for the help.

It would also be helpful to know which generation/engine you'll be working on. I'm familiar with the traditional Chevy small block, but have little experience with LS motors. I'll be looking to do a cam swap in my C6 at some point myself. I've done plenty of heads/cams on traditional SBC's, i'm assuming the fundamental's carry over to the LS motor. I'll be looking into buying an LS tech manual on Amazon or something, soon, to get me up to speed.
