We had a nice rainfall today in NJ and now we just need the potholes filled by our great state that is collecting $0.23 per gallon to repair the roads. Where are the trucks. I have not seen one crew or trucks on route 18 or 1 or on 9 zippo. What could this 1.2 billion money be going to hmmmm. Maybe a light rail or a renovated capital building who knows... It just pisses me off. Ok all done with rant.

I work directly on route 46 and the crews came by twice in 3 days filling potholes. Roads still aren't good, but atleast the effort was there

Had my car out for 45min last night trying to put some break in miles on it. luckily i avoided the big craters

Jesus_ralliart--

Thanks for the website link; I checked it out and registered for their emails. Found out I'm only a 25-minute drive from there. Just have to mark my calendar.

The worse sound is going over a freshly filled pothole and hearing all that asphalt hitting the underside of the car

What is arctic coating? Is it a ceramic coating like Cquartz, etc?

If so are you doing it or a shop? I am getting my car from Macmulkin and they are wrapping 3/4 of the car in XPEL Ultimate. They have an XPEL certified shop basically live at their dealership because they do it on so many sales and they are #2 dealer in the U.S. When I get home I was wanting to have the car put some kind of coat on but I've never done it before so was wondering if there are any detail enthusiasts around or a reasonable place to bring it to.

I was looking at this, seemed simple enough to do myself
Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0

http://www.autogeek.net/wg5500.html

Every forum thread and detail site always had that as one of the top 2 paint sealants.

I am having a shop do it, I am not going crazy with the XPEL. Only front bumper, headlamps, mirrors, and the front part of the rear quarter panels. Then the car will be coated in ARCTIC coating. very similar to ceramic PRO. The shop up here in north jersey is the only authorized installer of it around and it comes from sweden i belive. It also is about half the price of ceramic pro.

Check out the Auto polishing center instagram account. They are coating everything with it! Jet ski's, exotics, vettes you name it

My fathers Porsche cayenne GTS is going in for it tomm. Bought it a 2 years old its black and has never seen a coat of wax. Truck will come out looking better then the showroom when they are done. Followed by my Z06 then His grand sport.

Hey guys. Just putting this out here.

my buddy matt is the owner of Tune Time Performance in Lakewood near the Jackson border and the owner of the white Z06 in this pic (mine obviously is the gray)

he's having a 10th anniversary show on Saturday April 8th.Food trucks, the shop is about 7k sqft. Very nice place and they have a Dyno which will be running that day. Food trucks and most times the cars overwhelm the area. 300 plus for spring show usually. This one should be bigger.

hope to see some of you guys there.

also going to put together a couple cruise and brunch with the Viper guys this season. Had a good time at the last one end of last year before the weather turned.

check out their Facebook for more info..

and like someone else mentioned the season pass to cars and coffwe in millstone is awesome. Show up whenever and get a spot.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing lots of Vettes at all the shows this year. Cheers

+1 for Tune Time, they have done a lot of work on my friends G8.
I would love to see some C&C events closer to the shore, maybe if there is enough people we can put something together ?

definitely. Just need to find a location and talk to some people. I'll do some digging. I would suggest maybe a parking lot right on Route 9 one of the towns or Route 37 in Toms river? Even a couple spots right off 70 in Manchester. Summer time tough to get near heavy traffic shore areas. But maybe 10 minute ride inland would do it.
