Default Got my car out of winter storage today! Anyone else?

The weather in MD is looking pretty great this weekend and no snow in the future forecast so I figured I'd take the rare opportunity to get my Z06 out of winter storage a month or so early! Anyone else taking advantage of the unseasonably warm weather?

Absolutely! I actually take mine out of storage throughout the winter, if we're going to have a couple days without snow/ice, and dry roads. I have to be very careful with these Goodyear SC2's though....they are like driving on hockey pucks in the cold weather until they get warmed up!

I'm in Staten Island NY and with the temperature in the low 60's. And all the snow is melted, I uncovered the car and took a ride with a few of the guys from the club today. This is great weather for February and it looks the same for tomorrow..

The weather in upstate NY was nice today, but there is a lot of salt on the roads, they are white in places. Just need a rain shower and that would remove most of it. Hopefully later this week!

Yes, Blue sky, sunshine and 68* here in Central NJ. No salt on the roads, so unplugged the battery charger put away the flatstoppers and reset the tire pressures. Car is officially out of storage about 3 weeks earlier than planned. Lovely day for a drive.

I've had the cars out a few times over the last week. I have always driven in the winter if the roads are clear and dry. It's good for the cars and good for me.

Supposed to be a good round of showers with a frontal passage tomorrow night, so even though Sunday will be back down to then 40's the roads should be washed. We're not done with snow yet but a little outing would be nice.

Took the day off work and couldn't have been happier to have the weather we did around here today. Have the Z06 out all day.

My '06 Z06 has been in storage since November and will be there until March 31 (been storing it every winter since new). Weather in Maryland can be crazy, especially in March so I'm playing it safe. Have had the wife's '06 C6 conv. out several times recently though.

Yes even with a colder day it was great to be out again. Not exactly shiny clean but at least blew the dust out of it.

Everyday is a good day for the Vette. Snow tires will remain for a few weeks.

Life is short.
