I just got off the phone with Lebanon Valley Dragway, and they said they don't have no more than a dusting of snow, and may be able to be open for 4/6/03, if this is the case I'm heading over there this Sunday.

Damn! I'vebeen counting down days on my blackboard since early in the year. I started at '83', for 83 days left to racing. I'm looking at that '2' on my blackboard, and now I'm gonna have to change it to a '9'. C'est la vie!

Snow is falling as I look out the window here at work... I hope you guys avoid all of this crap. We need a few really good thunderstorms to rinse the newly distributed sand/salt from Sunday, Monday AND today :cry .

Man, us CNY-ers were planning on going to the strip this Saturday, but now we have to wait at least a week for things to de-salinate. To make matters worse, it is dropping into the 20's here this weekend. Why won't the friggin' jetstream lift up away from New York-New England and go into Canada where it belongs??? We all need some HEAT so we can go racin'! :steering:

Man, I knew about the snow this weekend, but not all week. I woke up this morning all excited about driving 4-5 hours to tes drive a vette. Then my wife asks me to go clean the snow off her car before she goes to work. I'm thinking this is one sick day late april fools joke and tell her so. Then I look out the window and see an inch of white stuff and more pounding down. The cruel cruel bastards at the weather channel are messing with my quest to ge waved at.

This guy is awesome with his weather forecast here for the New Hampshire seacoast, northern MA and Southern ME. He makes the TV weather people including the weather channel look like fools. It is amazing how dead on he is and when he is rarely wrong he admits it and explains why he was wrong.
