Default WTB: Shorty Headers for C5 Z06

Just as the title states, looking for some shorty headers locally. I know long tubes make more power, but I want to be smog legal.

If you have set, please email me at gixxermr2@yahoo.com

Thanks for looking!

Shorties aren't worth the money imo. they're just lighter and cost as much as LT's

Thanks for the input. Shorties will most likely come to my advantage when I install my procharger. Every little bit counts when trying to make power and still be smog legal.

If anyone had a set for sale that has CARB EO let me know.

Thanks!

Its your cash buddy but they are NOT worth it. $1K+ and you MIGHT see 5 HP if that Take your lady out for a weekend that would better spent. HAHA Or just get LT's and deal with it every couple years. I know someone that does that.

Like said above, shorties are a proven waste of money.

There is a guy that put C6Z manifolds on his C5Z and picked up 12-13rwhp.....something to think about.

Bringing this thread back to life. Car will be fitted with a procharger soon and need a set to keep the car exhaling as much as it's inhaling.

It may not make that much power than long tubes but every little bit counts

I did not know their was a smog legal set of shorties available?

And if all your worried about is keeping cats on the car for a somewhat smog legal car have a set put on after long tubes like everyone else does. If you are in California I hear people do this all the time and blow clean is all that really counts, of course I would not know this both my cars are all original and legal

PM or email me with details. I'll reach out if it sounds something I may want to do. Thanks Mike! I'm Anthony L.'s friend which is a customer of yours that you installed A&A kit on.

Yup your correct but I would never use JBA headers as we have replaced or repaired quite a few of them
