Thinking about renting warehouse space, anybody interested?
I'm looking at moving again this summer, and even if I don't I'm just about out of space for all of my "stuff" anyway. With the likelihood that my Galant VR4 will never sell for a reasonable sum I'll probably want to just store it until I have time to do something with it myself. I already have a massive trailer, a track Z06 (non-op'ed), a sand car, and probably 2 dozen wheels to store. The Galant would be one more thing I just don't have space for.
So I've been kicking around the idea of trying to find a warehouse somewhere in the Bay Area to lease. Generally as you go bigger the cost per sq. foot goes down, so it makes a lot of sense to see if any other Norcal Corvette Forum folks would be interested in something like this. I know I've seen doje complain about being out of garage space more than once.
I'm pretty open on location since it doesn't need to pass the "would I live there" test. Obviously, I want something secure and I would want to keep the drive to/from it under an hour. But that opens up a pretty massive area. I'd really like to keep my monthly investment under $500/mo (which is of course impossible on my own) - with lower always being better. Something that has outside space (reasonably secure) for trailers in addition to the warehouse space would work. I've also seen plenty of spaces with big enough roll-ups to just dump the trailer inside (ideal, but obviously drives the sq. footage required way up).
Any interest out there?

Let me check with my buddy. He mentioned a few months ago that he may have some space for rent in Belmont / San Carlos area. I'll check with him again.

Maybe....
If you wind up in the South Bay area I may be interested, depending on the specifics.

Just talked to my buddy and he said his neighbor MAY have enough room for a couple cars, but defnitely not enough for your trailer. Most people with the big enclosed trailers store them at an outdoor lot and keep the PNO car inside.

Just curious what someone would pay for a place like this..
Maybe something with 24 access, and minor maintaince supplies like air water , wash area.. ? ?
with maybe trailer space and wheel storage. HUH
