I have been to carlisle and bloomington show. I am wondering how the swap meets are in turlock.

Put on by the Model A club. It's huge. Will take hours to go through. It can be very cold especially if it's foggy. Big car corral. Corvette parts are hit and miss. Typical of a swap meet - 50% Chevy, 30% Ford, the other 20% is a mix of all other brands. Last time I went I think it was 6 bucks to get in and the parking is free. If you don't get there early and have to park in the remote lots they do have shuttle buses.

Been going to the swap meet for 5 yrs now it is hit and miss big time if you are looking for over priced junk it is the place to be. I go to collect old Matchbox cars and to buy new lug nuts for my truck and vette. My biggest win was a set of 295-35-18 Goodyear GSD3 Tires for 100.00 if you want old Chevy engine decals and 2 lbs corn dogs your in it to win it LOL. If you want to find someone to chrome stuff for you they are their alot of old Chevy chrome alt. and brackets vette parts are very rare like the post before me he is right on about the Typical of a swap meet.

In the spring and just before Hot August Nights there will be swap meets at the Power Balance pavilion (old Arco Arena). It's almost as big as Turlock. Pick up a copy of Cruisin News and all the swap meet dates are in it.

I would have loved to go to Turlock to see what I could have found for my C4 but unfortunately it is in conflict with the 2 days of drag racing at Infineon this weekend...
