Default Sacramento tuner recommendations...

A friend of a friend in the greater Sacramento, California area asked me for a local tuner recommendation who is familar with blown C-6 Corvettes. A&A and RPM are too far for him. He is purchasing an out of state C-6, running great as is, but he is looking for a mod shop that is local for him to keep his new baby in proper working order.

Any Northern California folks able to refer a C-6 high HP blown C-6 specialist in the greater Sacramento area?

If he wants to stay in the Sacramento area give Mark Roman a call... he works out of MSI's shop. Mark's an excellent tuner. If he's purchasing a out of state C6 he will probably want to have it retuned since most states out of CA are running 93 or higher octane as their base gas. In CA we have crappy 91 octane which also has quite of bit of ethanol in it so I'm pretty sure the there is more timing in the tune that is in the car at this point compared to what he can run in CA

Mark Romans is the best guy up in the Sac area. I have a h/c/i C5 Z06 that he has tuned for me, and I'm very happy with his work. He does sc cars too. PM me if you want his number.

Mark Romans for sure. He also provides his services through Corvette Care (916) 638-1911, ask for Phillip. Mark tuned my E-Force supercharged LS-2 to 618 HP & 611 ft. lbs. TQ (at the crank). It runs great on California pump gas. Mark is an absolute wizard.

Mark tuned my 2000 Ligenfelter car. It was originally a Texas car and tuned for their gas, not our great California stuff. Mark retuned the car and it has been running great ever since.

I don't mark is tuning any more from what I gather from him when I spoke to him in the past few months. If your looking for a tune were running a special for this month for only 400

My shop is called TPS Motorsports and we're located in Campbell, CA which is right next to San Jose. What kind of mods do you have and do you have an auto or manual transmission? If you have an Auto a tune will really wake up your car.

My car is a 2005 C6 manual 6spd/ Flowmasters/ Callaway cold-air intake (which mark had recommended prior to his tune)

You will see about 20RWHP but you will see better throttle response also.

Billy at Forcefed is an excellent tuner and will walk you througj the tune, explaining what he is doing and why.
I bought my car from the East Coast and had him detune for 91. Not very expensive, great customer service and i was very happy with the driveability of the tune.

+1 for Mark Romans, great guy and awesome tuner. He is still tuning. Had mine done last week, C5 FRC, 402 stroker etp 245's etc...... He is very busy and sometimes tough to get a spot with but worth the wait.

Mark tuned my 06 C6 about 2 years ago. When he did it I though I had passed out and someone put me in another vehicle....the change in power and performance was absolutely unbelievable.
