OP, thanks for the info. Any paid parking available on Main St. this year for non-entered Corvettes?

Sorry, there will not be any paid or unpaid parking on Main St. for non-registered Corvettes this year.

There are usually several major Chevrolet dealerships with new Corvettes on display (usually a couple of ZR-1's), car care suppliers, sometimes banks, artsy-fartsy things and others. The National Corvette Museum always has a booth selling Corvette shirts, accessories, etc.

Some local shops will be open but many will not. There will be lots of restaurants to choose from.

I was just told that there will be at least one C7 there!

Sorry to miss this. I'm taking my 06 silver vert on a multi state tour that very weekend. Should be gone 8-9 days. Others post up some pics and I'll see them on my iPad at the motel each night. Just curious, how long would a car have to be parked on display that day? What would be the earliest one could leave?

If you want to be entered and judged than you would have to wait until after judging (1-2pm) before leaving. If you are a WSCC member you can see the results posted on the WSCC website about two weeks afterwards. If you are not a WSCC member you might never know the results of the judging because we are under no obligation to notify people of their standing and/or mail them a trophy.

If you don't care about being judged or the results you can leave whenever you want (very slowly because there will be hundreds of pedestrians).

Darn, I really enjoy this event. But on 9/21 I will be celebrating my 70th birthday. There will be a reunion of my rock band from college. We will play for the first time in 46 years. Should be a gas, gas, gas. Hope all of you who are attending the corvette show will enjoy it as much as I have in past years. Live it up, Jim
