That was a pretty incredible turnout yesterday! The variety and caliber of cars was amazing... eg. (3) 458 Italia's... crazy.

Duman, your car and especially the interior is awesome! Gave me Caravaggio envy... will try and catch next month's event schedule permitting...

thank you There were some really cool cars there and it keeps getting bigger and bigger. The only problem is people keep showing up earlier and earlier to get parking. We were there at 7:10 and were parker in the second 1/2 of the lots. Crazy. If I make the next one I will just hang out at the car so I can put names and faces together.

I got there @6:30,by 7 the first lot was full.Lots of beautiful cars but there was one thing that just blew me away.A young couple and 2 kids,maybe three and four were walking by the cars and the youngest kid stops in front of this gorgeous 930 Porsche and starts laying across the front of the car as the father starts taking pictures and telling her how cute she looks,then the other kid comes over and starts pounding on the front of the car.Im maybe 10 feet away,speechless waiting for the moron to rein in his kids as hes snapping away with the camera.Finally Im just about to say something when I have to stop,its not my car and no damage done but what could possible be going through an adults head as they watch their kids pounding on a strangers car?This was a car gathering,meaning the owners take a great deal of pride in showing their car,thats one of the reasons were all here.Stupid parents raise stupid kids I guess.

Talked with the Blackhawk Museum reps at the San Jose Auto Show today, they confirmed the Cars & Coffee at their location isn't going anywhere, and that recent events have finally made the local cops take their concerns for public safety seriously.

Perfectly understandable, particularly if you were not an avid consumer of the TV series. Being a TV-watching lowbrow redneck, particularly as a kid, I saw that opening line of the lyrics to the Waylon Jennings theme song for the show and then couldn't the damn tune out of my head:
