I would go on Saturday. I have done that in the past a couple of times and it worked out great.

Check online which classes/vintages of cars are running on each day, in case you want to see a particular kind of car, such as Trans Am or 1930s Le Mans cars.

Got my ticket / corral pass for Saturday. No particular reason 'cept that it's usually nicer to start the weekend with something like this than end it.

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the date on the ticket / corral at this point if you've ordered online? Just discovered my Aug 16th date conflicts with a friend's wedding on the same day. I'd like to see about changing it to the 17th. Are the one-day passes good only for the day specified or can they be used a different day?

I ordered on 7/6, haven't gotten them yet. I didn't have the order info on me when I realized the date problem, so I sent them a message through their site. Will have to call tomorrow and hope I can get it changed.
