Default somethings up...

Is it just low turnout for the corral? I haven't gone since 2011, I had the '69 apart for a bunch of "while I'm at it" repairs, but attendance may have something to do with the dust-up between Steve Earle ("Monterey Historic Automobile Races", he owns the copyright) and SRAMP, the current "Motorsports reunion" operator. Steve moved his operation to Sears Point Raceway (I work there) with mixed results. Great competitor turnout, non existent spectators or car corrals in the past two years. I much preferred the earlier version @ Laguna, along with the Ferrari events the week before.

I always loved that drive from the Barnyard to the corral Saturday morning! My car makes a glorious racket (side pipes + 427 = earthquake) going up that hill. I'll have to do it again next year.
