2015 8-speed: early reports are in
Several magazines have test-driven the new 2015 eight speed in a Stingray and have reported very positively.
For anyone interested, here are a video and some reports.
For all of you C7 haters, just ignore this. You wouldn't want to be confused with the facts.

I could care less about any automatic information, auto trans isn't driving.... in a Corvette.
Has nothing to do with being faster or slower either.
If you're still puzzled a manual isn't for you.
It is about getting their not arriving.

Driving an automatic leaves your hand/feet free to drive faster.
But that's getting a wee bit too technical for some on this forum, eh?
You need to spend more time reading and less time writing on forums.....at least until you get caught up to date, that is.
The C7 manuals haven't exactly received A pluses either.

Well, subfloor,
ya see, it's like this here.
I never said nothin' 'bout winnin' Miss Congeniality on this forum.
But you know the truth, it's getting too damned easy to **** off some of the Micro minds on this forum. I may get bounced off of the forum by a hair trigger administrator, anyway, but I won't mind.....truly...because this forum really sucks much of the time and they let the certifiable braindead promote their pitiful nonsense.
And, since my 2015 was just built and is waiting to be shipped out of B'green, I'll soon be spending MUCH less time on this forum, anyway.
That plus a month long visit to a warm foreign shore will leave me with only better things to do than waste time on this forum.
So, in closing, subfloor, it's been way nice knowin ye and I thank you for all of your support.
But maybe you can do a big favor for me. I see from your avatar that you like drag racin' your Corvette. Is that so, subfloor?
If it is, maybe you can answer a question that occurred to me.
I reckon that most of these Corvette drag racers remove the steering wheel form their cars and throw it in the garbage. Ya see, they don't have a clue what it's for and it's extra weight that they don't need to carry in the car. What do you think about that, boy?
As for this forum, you're in charge until somebody better comes along.

And you have already pissed off the most helpful knowledgeable group of corvette enthusiasts on the planet?
Maybe you should stick to a Prius.

Autos is just driving, no fun.
You started exalting the automatic. I just replied not agreeing.
BTW I have owned a paddle shift car before too and wasn't happy with it and yes it was quick.
Just an old school gear jammer.
