The morning was great and then is hot wet. Still a blast getting out on the track.

I had a ton of fun! Even though the conditions were "mixed" (more wet than dry) every session was a total blast for this beginner.

On another note: Man, there are some fast Vette drivers out there!

It was great seeing you guys at the track. I had fun trying to drive fast on a wet track with R888's for the first time. The car only tried to swap ends two times on one session until I learned that I couldn't try to accelerate at all until the car was completely out of the turn and completely pointed straight. Other than that, I was surprised as to how well the car did get around the track while being driven fairly aggressively with controllable understeer.

Had a ton of fun. Only was wet for 2 sessions around lunch. First time I've driven in the rain...

Driving in the rain was a good learning experience. I started really slow but picked up the pace as I got more comfortable with the wet track. Traction control was my friend and helped me out a few times. I had to laugh when I saw Rich's T shirt that said "what ever race car wants, race car gets". On Thursday the race car must have wanted fast because that's what Rich gave it.
